 he Alexandria Innovation in Technology Awards program was created to showcase advancements in the development and application of technology by Alexandria-based businesses. Created in 1996, the program has become a tradition, each year culminating in the presentation of awards to one or more of a small group of finalists. The 2008 program has been developed in coordination with other related events taking place in Alexandria.
The program is sponsored cooperatively by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership and the
City of Alexandria, Virginia.
